A brief History
The Club was originally established in October 2010 for students of Dornoch Academy by a number of members of the Invergordon Model Flying Group who gave up a few hours of their Tuesday afternoons to teach students the skills behind this very diverse engineering hobby from building to flying. The club applied for and received grants from Highland Council and both the Dornoch and Creich Community Councils to assist in the establishment of the club. This funding was used to purchase building facilities as well as model aircraft and radio systems to give flying lessons at the Dornoch Airfield.
Since those early days this community based club has become open to all ages and skill levels.
